Meet Bounds
The name’s Bounds. Ryan Bounds. I’m a husband, father of four kids, and during the day, I’m a designer of really cool ships. In my infinite free time, I like to browse the web and see all of the amazing things that woodworkers are creating and saying to myself “hey, I can do that!” One day back in 2019, I took the plunge, built my first real project, and haven’t looked back. I’ve had the pleasure of hand making all kinds of things: ranging from trinkets to cutting boards, to home décor and several large furniture pieces for friends and family.
I am, by no means, a professional woodworker. But I love learning, challenging myself to try something new and making things that people enjoy. Woodworking has been a great creative outlet and a much needed stress reliever and I hope to continue having the opportunity to keep building new things. This page will not only help me share my ideas but also serve as a chance to get some new ones.
So I know what you might be thinking. With a full time job and four kids, how do I have time to do projects? Well, the secret is to get no sleep…just kidding (almost). The real secret is to have an amazing wife who wrangles…I mean watches…the kids while I escape to the garage for an hour or two. She’s great and I couldn’t do it without her!
